Anthony’s name on the Continent is Callyswood Anthony At Sprucedell. To get to his new home in Germany he took the ferry from Harwich Harbour. At the age of 15 weeks Tony became already a seafaring youngster who enjoyed the new experience.
The mother he left behind is SH CH Callyswood Caitlin. She had been sired by SH CH Tissalian Hi Jack who was Best of Breed at Crufts 2018. Tony’s Grandmother is Cornlands Lady Flora, a litter sister to Cornlands Laurus At Sprucedell.
Angela Mitchell and her husband Paul diligently reared all the litter. So Anthony soon became a happy and self-confident young Labrador. At his new home he was immediately accepted by his companion, the chocolate Labrador Viscount aus Luehlsbusch.
Playing together in the house and in the garden is a vital element of the learning process a youngster has to undergo. A good friend is also a good teacher on the way to a dual purpose Labrador. Imitational Learning is a case in point. In the picture the young dog learns how to retrieve a dummy from deep water.
Anthony and Viscount live in perfect harmony. They share the same place when sleeping overnight. They both enjoy holidays at the Atlantic Ocean.
