“I was hoping to use the name ‘Sandridge’ as a prefix. It was where my father once lived in Australia. But someone in Cairns had that name, so I chose Sandylands in a funny way. I was out walking Juno one day when a man came along, and admiring her, asked my kennel name. I looked up and saw the sign, Sandylands Promenade, and it just clicked.”
