Peggy Rae and Diana Beckett invited their friends in July 2007 to join them in a celebration of the diamond and golden jubilees of their Labrador Kennels. Around 200 Labrador friends congratulated them at their party at Cornlands in Essex.
Peggy Rae started Cornlands Labradors in 1947. Diana Beckett and her husband Don got their Kimvalley prefix 10 years later. Both Labrador Kennels have bred many champions and have had a significant impact on the development of the breed.
Peggy Rae and Diana Beckett have won world renown for their breeding and judging and have been showing labradors for more than one hundred years collectively.
