Happy Ten!

Good  old Champion Cornlands Continental Star is celebrating his 10th birthday. We wish him many happy returrns of  the day. In  his life he had been a peerless hunting dog, a  highly successful  showman and a  versatile friend  of  his family. He challenged  icy water, brought in  fallen  game and  provided pleasure and companionship to his pals. A whole decade  together  made us staunch friends and allies.

A paw that’s laid upon my knee And questioning eyes that gaze at me A furrowed slightly worried brow twixed turn’d out ears all ask – What now?
